For
our children, our community, our environment...
How are we an eco-friendly
or green childcare center?
Indoor environment:
• We use a rough mat and we cover all shoes with
non-skid socks when walking through the center to avoid
outside pollutants from getting on the inside.
• We use only biodegradable, non-toxic, mild or
least-toxic cleaning products.
• We use only no-VOC latex paints. Volatile organic
compounds have been linked to harmful health effects
like headaches and cancer. |

sight of the children.

kill outside debris.

which may have lead or chlorofluorocarbons.

run for 5-10 seconds for drinking, cooking and making baby

to cook, store, or serve food or drinks.
